Milk coma...

Milk coma...

Henry and his great aunt

Aunt Sandra sent us this photo taken last summer in Illinois and it is probably one of the only ones that exist where Henry is legitimately smiling and not giving his "silly face." Aunt Sandra sends Henry letters, stickers and coloring books pretty much weekly, which is always a big hit with the little guy. She is a retired teacher who now has one of the coolest jobs ever...making ice cream cakes for Dairy Queen. I am still not sure she understands what retired means, but that is okay too.

Professional photos of Eleanor at 27 hrs old...

There is a photo studio at the hospital where Eleanor was born. As I was packing up all of our stuff to go home they came by and asked if we wanted to have her photo taken. I didn't really want to but since we were not able to take as many pictures of her as we did with Henry, I agreed. Some of them are pretty cute and some of them look like she's in a coffin and they look disturbing...but here they are.

First bath...

I think the first bath is a pretty good indication of a baby's temperament. Eleanor was happy as a clam to be in there and only fussed when we took her out (I say fuss b/c I'm not sure I've actually heard her cry since I delivered her.)

Eleanor is still sleeping constantly. I nurse her at night but I don't even know if she would mention it if I didn't. I actually woke up to use the rest room last night and she was laying there, chewing on her hands. "If it's not too much to ask, maybe I'll have a little drink but if you're busy...it's okay. Don't mind me." Henry used to cry just in anticipation of being hungry.

Henry helped...
