Happy Birthday Henry!!!

From today's class email sent to the parents :

Hello Butterfly Parents,
Well it is a gray and rainy day but we have managed to have a good day. We started the day off cutting and playing with the alphabet mystery box. It was then time to go to assembly and have one last practice at the African songs for Sunday. Next we came back to the room for snack and Henry showed up with some gingerbread man cookies to share for his birthday. So we sang him "Happy Birthday" and enjoyed sitting around the table together. We then thought that it might start raining soon so we went outside to the playground. Yep, sure enough we were out for only 20 min. and down came the rain. It was kind of fun for everyone to run through rain and quickly make our way back inside. Once we returned to the room we took our shoes off and moved the table in the middle of the room to play with the parachute. This was super fun and we did many activities with the parachute and then had a scarf dance party. It was then time for lunch so we cleaned up the room and washed our hands. After lunch we played with the blocks and they had a whole city built plus small blocks as cars driving around the city. Great Imagination! During nap today we read more from our story book and fairy tale book and then took a great rest. I hope you all have a super great weekend and I will see you all on Monday.
Ms. Ashley
