Eleanor is feeling a lot more solid and fun to hold. If you put her on her belly she lifts herself up fully and looks around. She's very strong. Her head no longer requires support. If she were bigger I'd carry her on my hip. She talks all the time, ooooing and ahhhing. Huge smiles. She's such a happy baby. I love it when she does her running in place, bicycle kicking thing. She goes to sleep much easier now and eating much more. She has rolled over twice but both in the night so I didn't see it, just had to flip her back over when I realized she was face down. Might have to get one of those sleep positioners.
Henry seems less emotional too lately (helps to not be sick) but he's very serious about doing everything himself ("I want to do it like a big boy!" ) and will get very angry when not given the chance. He can dress and undress himself now (except for socks and he needs initial help with putting a shirt over his head). I never forced it or tried to teach him--just waited for him to naturally want to. I let him try to do the tasks he wants to and if he starts freaking out in frustration I try to support him and talk him down from the ledge:-)
Sleep with him still pretty constant. Bed at 7. Awake between 6:15 and 7:15 AM and nap around noon lasting 2-3 hours. He is potty trained at night but still refuses to go #2 (anywhere) without a lot of support and encouragement.
