We got a digital phone line when Chela started in case she ever needed to call us...but, in reality it is simply the method by which telemarketers can call us unendingly. As such, we have turned to our own way of amusing ourselves when the same phone number calls us for the 47th time in two days. One way is to let Henry answer the phone.
Henry - "Hello (Heh-whoah)"
Telemarketer - "Hello, this is (unintelligible), how are you doing today?"
H - "I'm doing okay"
T - "Good, is your mother or father home?"
H - "Yes....(long pause)....Goodbye."
He then pushed some buttons on the phone, which made fairly loud beeps and said, "Oh, that's loud" and then hung up.
They did not call back.
this is HILARIOUS!! go Henry...you tell 'em!!
