Eleanor's shower...

So, I am pretty lucky. Somehow I've managed to be surrounded by a lot of awesome women who all have kids under the age of 4 and most of them within months of Henry's age. I feel like these last 2 years have been almost a group effort--with all of us going through the same basic joys and struggles at the same time. When two of my closest friends asked to do a shower for me I wanted it to be more of a celebration of our friendship(I spared my non-mom friends from having to attend yet another baby-shower) and a time for us to get together without our kids and without worrying about our kids...so last night, after the kids were all in bed, we met downtown at my friend Nina's place for some good food, wine (I had a sip--my first this pregnancy) and lots of conversation (a woman's dream, right?).

I received some pretty dang cute outfits, a gift-card for a pre-natal massage, and Sarah R. knitted Eleanor a sweet baby-hat. Here are some lame pics I took --I was more interested in hanging out then photographing, so there's not much of a record. Nina lives in the 360 condo's downtown and we were in their club-room.
