Henry is right on top of his moods. He will always tell us when he is sad, happy, grumpy, frustrated, etc. He will talk out loud (to himself), "I'm a little bit sad. I want to throw this raisin. That will make me happy."
The other morning he was feeling particularly grumpy and he said, "I want some chocolate milk. That will make me feel better." The thing to note is Henry will not drink white milk. I recently purchased some chocolate (unsweetened) almond milk, to see if he would drink that (regular chocolate milk has a TON of sugar). So I poured him a glass and handed it to him and he took one sip, grimaced, slammed the cup back down on the table and shouted, "That don't make me feel better!"
Tonight I was cuddling with him before bed, as is our usual routine, and I whispered into his ear, "Mommy and daddy love you so much." and he whispered back, "I know."
In other news....I'm feeling a bit crampy...and I'm 3 cm.
Stay tuned.
